In my opinion Candice Lake is one of the best dressed ladies out there. I love her all-white look above and she forms a beautiful couple with Zanita‘s striped outfit. And let’s talk about the second look: yellow snakeskin and babyblue is always a good thing!

Meiner Meinung nach ist Candice Lake einer der bestgekleideten Frauen. Ich liebe ihren weißen Gesamtlook und auch sie in Kombination mit Zanita bilden ein schönes Paar. Und lasst uns über den zweiten Look reden: gelbe Schlangenleder zusammen mit Babyblau sind immer eine gute Sache! (Bilder via)

Fashion week madness is finally over! But before we try to go back to normal, have a look at my favorite street style snaps, which include – of course – Emmanuelle Alt, the beautiful Hanneli Mustaparta, a serious beanie crush and more sweet sweet stuff.

Oh la la Paris – my personal highlight of the whole fashion week saison starts today! I’m looking forward to seeing the collections of wonderful labels like Céline, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Chloé, Hermès… (this could be continued endlessly). But I’m not only fascinated by the magic that happens on the runways, but also by the ” Parisienne Chic”. The french ladies stick to the basics and spices them up with heels, or bags – always effortlessly chic! There is for example Géraldine Saglio, stylist and assistent of Emmanuelle Alt at Vogue Paris, proofs that white jeans can look classy! Garance Doré has been a part of blogger-olymp for many years and still gets us with her photographs, drawings and her own outfits. Ludivine Poiblanc is editor-at-large at Interview Magazine and lives in New York. The law graduate has a preference for masculine cuts. Caroline de Maigret, french model and music producer lives the bohemian chic – messy hair, jeans and an oversized coat: et volià! And of course there is Emmanuelle Alt. Since 2011 she has been editor-in-chief at Vogue Paris and is one of my fashion heroes.

Oh la la Paris – mein persönliches Highlight der ganzen Fashion Week Saison beginnt heute! Schon jetzt freue ich mich riesig auf die Kollektionen der tollen Labels wie Céline, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Chloé, Hermès… (die Liste könnte ist unendlich). Aber neben der Magie, die sich auf dem Catwalk abspielt, faszinieren mich auch der “Parisienne Chic”. Die französischen Damen halten an den Basics fest und würzen diese mit Highheels und Taschen - effortlessly chic, wie man so schön sagt! Da ist zum Beispiel Géraldine Saglio, Stylist und Assistent von Emmanuelle Alt, beweist stets, dass weiße Jeans schick sein können! Garance Doré lebt schon seit vielen Jahren im Blogger-Olymp und begeistert uns immer noch mit ihren Fotos, Zeichnungen und ihren eigenen Outfits. Ludivine Poiblanc ist Editor-at-Large beim Interview Magazin und lebt in New York. Die studierte Juristin hat eine Vorliebe für maskuline Schnitte. Caroline de Maigret, Model und Musikproduzentin liebt den “Bohemian Chic” – messy hair, Jeans und ein übergroßer Mantel: et voilà! Und natürlich gibt es noch Emmanuelle Alt. Seit 2011 ist sie Chefredakteurin der französischen Vogue und ist definitiv eine meiner Modelheldinnen.

Suzy Menkes sparked off a huge controversy about “the circus of fashion”, the dressing up during fashion week and the changes in the whole industry. I for myself love the classic and simple outfits, but I enjoy looking at the colourful Czarinas, Susie Bubble or Leandrea Medine a lot. Anyways: Above, you can see my favorite looks from the streets of New York and London!

Ich persönlich mag es lieber klassisch und schlicht, genieße aber auch den Anblick der bunten Czarinas, einer Susie Bubble oder Leandra Medine sehr. Italians are funny, always well tanned, loud and dressed in mulitcoloured and printed clothes without looking dressed up – here are my 5 favorite ladies, you will spot on the streets of Milan durin fashion week. Elisa Nalin, the blond and short haired has italian roots and lives as stylist in Paris. Viviana Volpicella is assistant fashion editor at Vogue Nippon and maybe has the most beautiful smile. Giovanna Battaglia, editor at L’Uomo Vogue and stylist of several wonderful editorials, loves short pleated skirts, which show her long legs and always chooses outstanding accessoires, to make her looks unique. Eleonora Carisi has many talents – the entfante terrible (her body is decorated by several tattoos and her hair is dyed from time to time) is a blogger, shop-owner, designer and editor at Grazia Italy and you simply have to love her style. Tamu McPherson is a photographer, runs the blog “all the pretty birds” and is editor-in-chief of Grazia.it. I love her girlie but elegant style!

Die Italienerinnen sind lustig, stets gebräunt, laut und sind in bunten Gewänder gekleidet, ohne dabei verkleidet zu wirken – ich stelle Euch meine 5 liebsten italienischen Damen vor, die Ihr während der Mailänder Modewoche auf der Straße sehen könnt: Zum einen ist da Elisa Nalin, die blone und kurzhaarige Redakteurin, die trotz italienischer Herkunft in Paris als Stylistin verweilt. Viviana Volpicella, stellvertretende Moderedakteurin bei der japanischen Vogue hat wahrscheinlich das schönste Lächeln ganz Italiens. Giovanna Battaglia ist Redakteurin bei L’Uomo Vogue und ist die Stylistin diverser wundervoller Modestrecke – sie liebt kurze Faltenröcke, in der sie ihre lange Beine präsentieren kann. Außerdem wählt sie stets besondere Accessoires, die ihre Looks einzigartig machen. Eleonora Carisi hat viele Talente – das entfant terrible (ihren Körper zieren Tattoos und ihre Haare werden von Zeit zu Zeit gefärbt) ist Bloggerin, Shopbesitzerin, Designerin und Editor bei der Italienischen Grazia und ihren Style muss man einfach lieben. Tamu McPherson ist Fotografin, betreibt den Blog “all the pretty birds” und Chefredakteurin von Grazia.it. Mir gefällt besonders der Mix als mädchenhaften und eleganten Elementen.

LONDON FASHION WEEK: THE CROWD

Welcome to London – the fashion week in the capital of England starts today and will end on the 19th of February. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the collections of Jonathan Saunders, Christopher Kane, J.W. Anderson and of course Burberry, what is always one of the highlights of the whole saison. But let’s talk about the people, who will be there and adorn the streets! Cara Delevingne, model of the moment, travels the world and runs over almost every catwalk, but London is her hometown and we will see her of course at many shows! Julia Sarr-Jamois, editor at Wonderland Magazine always works a casual and trendy look – and her hair is adorable. Hedvig Opshaug is originally from Norway. The expectant mother looks better than ever and proofs that also pregnant women can look fashionable. Caroline Issa, always very elegant and ladylike, is executive fashion director of Tank Magazine and know how to put on a red lipstick. And Alexa Chung – what do I have to say – has she ever disappointed?

Willkommen in London – die Fashion Week in der britischen Hauptstadt beginnt heute und endet am 19. Februar. Besonders freue ich mich auf die Kollektionen von Jonathan Saunders, Christopher Kane, J.W. Anderson und natürlich Burberry, was stets ein Highlight der gesamten Saison darstellt. Aber lasst uns über die Menschen sprechen, die die Straßen der Stadt verschönern! Cara Delevingne, das Model des Augenblicks, bereist die ganze Welt und läuft im Moment über fast jeden Laufsteg, London ist aber ihre Heimatstadt und wir werden sie hier natürlich auch bei etlichen Shows sehen! Julia Sarr-Jamois, Redakteurin beim Wonderland Magazine, sieht immer lässig und trendy aus – und ihr Haare sind bezaubernd! Hedvig Opshaug ist ursprünglich aus Norwegen. Die werdende Mutter wird immer schöner und beweist, dass auch Schwangere modisch sein können. Carolina Issa, die immer sehr elegant und ladylike ist, ist Fashion Director beim britischen Tank Magazin und weiß ganz genau wie man roten Lippenstift einsetzt. Und Alexa Chung – was soll ich sagen – hat sie uns jemals enttäuscht?

newyorkfw Once again the Fashion Week saison started. For you, I will have a close look at the fashion crowd in New York, London, Milan and Paris! New York Fashion Week began at the 7th of February and the photographers taking pictures like mad and these following ladies always work a perfect street style look: Jenny Lyons, J.Crew’s creative director, loves to choose boyish elements and combines them with extra-high highheels (and I love the fact, that she’s wearing specs almost all the time!). Leandra Medine aka The Man Repeller - no explanation needed! Casting Agent Natalie Joos is very creative when it comes to fashion and doesn’t follow any rules. Hanneli Mustaparta, model, photographer and latest testimonial of Louis Vuitton and Marni, usually picks statement-bags, -sunnies and -coats to give her outfits an unique look. Taylor Tomasi, artistic director at Moda Operandi hast been one of my ikons for many years – her ginger hair and her beloved materials-mix always blows my mind. Ladies, looking forward to seeing a lot of your amazing outfits!

Die Fashion Week Saison hat mal wieder begonnen. Deswegen werde ich für Euch einen genauen Blick auf die “fashion-crowd” in New York, London, Mailand und Paris werfen! Die New Yorker Modewoche hat bereits am 7. Februar begonnen – die Street-Style Fotografen knipsen wie wild und folgende Damen sind aufgrund ihres Styles stets begehrte Objekte: Jenny Lyons, Kreativchefin bei J.Crew, wählt gerne knabenhafte Elemente und kombiniert diese mit extrahohen Highheels (außerdem gefällt mir sehr, dass sie eigentlich immer ihre Brille trägt). Leandra Medine aka The Man Repeller benötigt wahrscheinlich keine weitere Beschreibung, oder? Natalie Joos, eine Casting Agentin, kennt in Bezug auf Mode keine Regeln. Hanneli Mustaparta, Model, Fotografin und jüngst das Gesicht von Louis Vuitton und Marni wählt meist ausdrucksstarke Taschen, Sonnenbrillen oder Mäntel um ihren Outfits einen einzigartige Look zu verpassen. Taylor Tomasi, künstlerische Leitung bei Moda Operandi, ist seit Jahren eine meiner persönlichen Ikonen – ihre roten Haare und ihr heißgeliebter Materialmix hauen mich einfach um! Ladies, ich freue mich darauf, viel von Euch zu sehen!
