 In my eyes Vanessa Traina, stylist and editor, is one of the most well dressed ladies and a true inspiration when it comes to minimalistic clothes. For years she remains true to her style and favorite labels like Céline, Altuzarra, Alexander Wang and Proenza Schouler. Last year she got married in a stunning dress by Givenchy, which looked mindblowing (have a look here). Seriously, I would wear anything she owns.

In meinen Augen ist Vanessa Traina, Stylistin und Redakteurin, eine der bestgekleidesten Frauen und eine wahre Inspiration in Bezug auf minimalistische Kleidung. Seit Jahren bleibt sie ihrem Stil und ihren Lieblingslabels wie Céline, Altuzarra, Alexander Wang und Proenza Schouler treu. FRANTASTIC GIRL: ADA KOKOSAR

Ada Kokosar, stylist and fashion consultant, is one of those girls, who impresses us with an incredibly lovely and nonchalant style. She often chooses wide pants and knits, blazers with strong shoulder pads and pencil skirts, as you can see in the pictures. But – and that makes her outfits so special – adds details like animal printed shoes, patent leather belts and bright colours. Thumbs up, Ada!

Ada Kokosar, Stylistin und Modeberaterin, ist einer der Frauen, die uns mit ihrem unglaublich süßen und nonchalanten Stil beeindrucken. Sie greift oftmals zu weiten Hosen und Oberteilen, Blazer mit strengen Schulterpolstern und Bleistiftröcken, was ihr auch anhand der Bilder feststellen könnt. Aber sie fügt ihren Outfits – und das macht sie auch so besonders – immer Details, wie Tierprints, Lackschuhe und -Gürtel oder leuchtende Farben hinzu. Daumen nach oben, Ada!

FRANTASTIC GIRL: CAROLINE DE MAIGRET

There are some girls out there, who don’t have to put on tons of make up, wear extravagant and extremely colourful clothes. They are these kind of girls, who look just perfect in leather jackets, with messy hair or a oversized coats. One of them is Caroline de Maigret, a french (of course!) model and music producer. She fascinates me because of her casual rockstar look , her huge smile and her fabulous body.

Es gibt dort draußen einige Damen, die nicht Unmengen an Make-Up oder extravagante und bunte Kleidung brauchen. Sie gehören genau zu dieser Art von Frauen, die perfekt in ihren Lederjacken, mit ihrem “messy hair” und ihren übergroße Mäntel aussehen. Eine von ihnen ist Caroline de Maigret, ein französisches (klar!) Model und Musikproduzentin. Over the years I collected a considerable number of illustrated fashion books and magazines. From time to time I grab one of them and browse through it. Apart from being interesting, they are pretty chic and one of my favorite accessoires of my flat. Above you can see my favorite books and parts of Amy Smilovic’s, Garance Doré’s and Katherine Power’s flat.

Über die Jahre habe ich mir eine beträchtliche Anzahl an Bildbänden über Mode und zahlreiche Magazine angesammelt. Ab und zu schnappe ich mir eines und schmökere über die Seiten. Abgesehen davon, dass sie sehr interessant sind, sind sie äußerst schick und eines meiner liebsten Einrichtungs-Accessoires. …longer hair. I’m actually pretty happy with my short hair, but sometimes I have my moments, when I really miss my long hair. But let’s be realistic: this will take a lot of time and it will be very frustrating sometimes. Ok – they’ll stay short for now!

…längeren Haaren. Eigentlich bin ich sehr glücklich mit meinem kurzen Haarschnitt, aber es gibt Momente, wenn ich die Mähne sehr vermisse. Aber lasst uns realistisch sein: es wird sehr lange dauern und manchmal frustrierend sein. OK – sie bleiben erst mal kurz! (Bild via)

It took me a while until I finally go my hands on the much expected CR Fashion Book, which I bought at Soda, my favorite book-shop in Munich. The first issue of Carine Roitfeld’s new magazine with the theme “rebirth” is all about women, motherhood and birth. For you I put together some expressions. Happy reading!

Es dauerte eine Weile, bis ich endlich das lang erwartete CR Fashion Book, welches man bei Soda – meinem liebsten Buch- und Magazinladen in München bekommt, in den Händen halten durfte. I’ve been searching for the perfect trench coat for a really long time and I don’t know, whether I should decide myself for a classic Burberry trench coat or for a more modern piece and should it be a short and long one. What’s your opinion?

Ich bin schon lange auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Trenchcoat, kann mich aber weder zwischen einem klassischen von Burberry oder einem etwas moderneren Modell entscheiden, noch zwischen einem langen und kurzen Trenchcoat. Wie entscheidet ihr euch? (Bild via)
