KERSTIN’S “FRANTASTIC FOUR”

Her style is phenomenal and she leads her own boutique – what a cool lady! Kerstin Görling is the owner of Hayashi, a shop in Frankfurt, with brands like Kenzo, Acne, Helmut Lang and many, many more. She writes her own blog, where she presents her outfits and is part of Journelles. Here are her Frantastic Four: 1. Kerstins dream car – the Falcon Futura. On her next trip to California, she is going to search for it and ship it to Germany. 2. Jewelry by Delfina Delettrez, especially this golden ring with the lips and the beautiful pearl. 3. The “Envelope Bag” by Céline. Kerstin loves to wear clutches, because they make every outfit special. 4. The Mandala pants by Helmut Lang fromt the cooperation with tattoo-artist Thomas Hooper. She loves to combine it with another black-and-white printed piece.

Ihr Style ist phänomenal und sie leitet ihre eigene Boutique – was für eine coole Dame! Kerstin Görling ist die Besitzerin von Hayashi, einem Shop in Frankfurt, der Marken wie Kenzo, Acne, Helmut Lang und viele weitere führt. Sie schreibt ihren Blog, auf dem sie ihre Outfits präsentiert und ist Teil von Journelles. Hier verrät sie ihre Frantastic Four: 1. Kerstins Traumauto – der Falcon Futura. Auf ihrer nächsten Reise nach Kalifornien will sie sich genau dieses Auto finden und mit nach Hause bringen. 2. Der ”Envelope Bag” von Céline. Kerstin liebt Clutches, da sie jedes Outfit irgendwie besonders machen. 3. Schmuck von Delfina Delettrez, der Fendi-Enkelin. Ihr Favorit ist der goldene Ring mit dem Kussmund und der Perle. 4. Die Mandala-Hose von Helmut Lang, die in einer Kooperation mit dem Tattoo-Künstler Thomas Hooper entstand. Am liebsten kombiniert Kerstin sie mit einem weiteren schwarz-weiß-gemusterten Kleidungsstück.

Some musicians like George Michael, Michael Jackson, The White Stripes or Jamiroquai came up with this idea and produced in my opinion one of the best clips in music-history. Have a look at Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Miranda Kerr & Co.!

Models verkörpern das Ideal – Körper, Look und das Gesicht. Und warum sollte man nicht dieses perfekte Gesamtpaket nehmen und es in ein Musik-Video packen, um dem ganzen ein tolles Äußeres zu geben.  In my eyes Vanessa Traina, stylist and editor, is one of the most well dressed ladies and a true inspiration when it comes to minimalistic clothes. For years she remains true to her style and favorite labels like Céline, Altuzarra, Alexander Wang and Proenza Schouler. Last year she got married in a stunning dress by Givenchy, which looked mindblowing (have a look here). Seriously, I would wear anything she owns.

In meinen Augen ist Vanessa Traina, Stylistin und Redakteurin, eine der bestgekleidesten Frauen und eine wahre Inspiration in Bezug auf minimalistische Kleidung. Seit Jahren bleibt sie ihrem Stil und ihren Lieblingslabels wie Céline, Altuzarra, Alexander Wang und Proenza Schouler treu. PUNK’S NOT DEAD

Punk is it again in 2013. Hedi Slimane did a collection for Saint Lauren, which was completely inspired by the style of the punk- and grunge-era and also the traditional Met-ball in New York  took place under the heading “Punk: Chaos to Couture”. In my opinion there are several elements, which are really interesting and can be integrated in my daily classic wardrobe. What do you think, do you like punky elements?

Punk ist im Jahr 2013 angekommen: Hedi Slimane hat für Saint Laurent eine vom Punk und Grunge inspirierte Ära designt und auch der traditionelle Met-Ball in New York stand unter dem Motto “Punk: Chaos to Couture”. Meiner Meinung nach gibt es viele Elemente, die sehr interessant sind und die auch in eine klassische Garderobe integriert werden können. Was denkt ihr, gefallen Euch punkige Elemenete?

There are several things in my life, I hate to do. One of them is cleaning my face before going to bed – it’s annoying but absolutely necessarie. Thank god there is Bioderma, what makes it super-easy to clean your face, erase your make-up and avoid redness at the same time. Bioderma is a brand from France and was founded by a french  pharmacist 1977. Ladies like socialite Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and make-up artist Lisa Eldrige have been using the products for years now and love them. Fortunately they are now available in Germany too and can be bought in almost every pharmacy.

Es gibt bestimmte Dinge im Leben, die ich hasse zu tun. Das Gesichtreinigen, bevor man ins Bett geht, gehört zu dieser Kategorie. Gott sei Dank gibt es Bioderma, was das Gesicht ganz sanft und schnell säubert, ohne dabei komplett rot zu werden. Die Marke Bioderma ist aus Frankreich und wurde dort von einem Apotheker 1977 gegründet. Damen wie Socialite Julia Restoin-Roitfeld und Visagistin Lisa Eldrige benutzen die Produkte schon seit Jahren und lieben sie. Glücklicherweise sind sie auch in Deutschland verfügbar und können in fast jeder Apotheke erstanden werden.

In my opinion Candice Lake is one of the best dressed ladies out there. I love her all-white look above and she forms a beautiful couple with Zanita‘s striped outfit. And let’s talk about the second look: yellow snakeskin and babyblue is always a good thing!

Meiner Meinung nach ist Candice Lake einer der bestgekleideten Frauen. Ich liebe ihren weißen Gesamtlook und auch sie in Kombination mit Zanita bilden ein schönes Paar. Und lasst uns über den zweiten Look reden: gelbe Schlangenleder zusammen mit Babyblau sind immer eine gute Sache! (Bilder via)
